During 2004 we started to expand outside Sweden. The main reason was to continue developing the product, and as the Swedish market grew smaller and smaller we realized that we need to expand on to other markets in order to develop SUMMARUM in the same pace.
Norway
Norway was the first market that was researched outside of Sweden. Even though the structure of the market was somewhat different, SUMMARUM showed to be an interesting product for the Norwegian companies. In Norway we are working with a local firm which is supporting us in our activities. Most activities are however handled from our Sweden office in Mölndal.
The Netherlands
The Netherlands was the market that was researched after the Norwegian market and showed to be very similar to the Swedish market. The work on the Dutch market started during 2005 with a market research and a few visiting trips. The Dutch companies showed great interest in SUMMARUM and REPAB and we decided to adjust SUMMARUM totally for the Dutch market. At this point our daughter company REPAB Nederland BV is established and are handling all sales and marketing of SUMMARUM in the Netherlands. Support are done from Sweden with Dutch speaking personnel.
